Say Hello to Spring...

Today was the first day of meteorological spring and it felt like it. As I write this, it's still 60 degrees outside in NW Washington. The rain expected for Tuesday will be quite scattered and limited to the morning hours if at all. All in all, not a bad Tuesday.
I've posted everyone's March snowfall contest entry in the Storm Center. Who will win? Some mighty cold air is building up in Canada...will it make it down here? Will it 'hook up' with any moisture?
Finally, here's a satellite image (courtesy NASA) of what we missed out on last week. It's pretty cool how well defined the area of snowfall is.
