Severe Thunderstorm watch in effect until 7pm

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch. I have seen conditions a whole lot more favorable for severe storms, but nonetheless, there are a few strong storms on the radar now to our west and southwest. Looks like most of the area will see some action as the complex of storms moves through between about 5:30 (Western Fairfax) and 6:30 (eastern suburbs). A few isolated areas could see some strong winds and small hail. I imagine most areas will experience just garden variety thunderstorms meaning some downpours, gusty winds and a bit of lightning.
