Unsettled weather this week...
We get off to a rainy start today with rain and thunderstorms across the area in association with a frontal boundary. The rain may be heavy at times, so have an umbrella handy. Rainfall totals of one inch or more are possible.
Tuesday should be partly cloudy and, in all likelihood, dry so long as the front moves far enough to the east. It will remain warm and humid, with the high in the upper 80s.
For severe weather fans, Wednesday might be an interesting day as a cold front approaches and interacts with a the warm humid air mass in place and strong winds aloft. Some strong storms may develop.
The cold front will be slow to clear, so some showers and storms remain possible on Thursday.
Right now, it looks like it may dry out for Friday and the early part of the weekend. Stay tuned.
