- Do you live and breathe DC weather?
- Want to become part of a dynamic, growing website with the bold goal of becoming THE online source for DC weather?
We're seeking a credentialed weather guru, who lives in the DC area, to join us. Responsibilities would include posting roughly twice a week and covering severe weather.
Desired skills/qualities:
*BS degree in Meteorology or higher (preferred)
*Outstanding forecasting ability
*Excellent writing skills
*A sense of humor
*Being in tune with current events/DC happenings
*Web/graphic design skills (a big plus-not essential)
*Web programming skills (a huge plus--not essential)
At present, this is an unpaid position. We're looking for someone who has such a passion for weather that they'll work for free (like the rest of us here).
