Mother nature plays defense...

If 'ole man winter' is supposed to bring the DC area snow, mother nature is doing a good job keeping him off balance. Pitching storms to our north, south, west and east, she's got a shutout going so far this month. There's no indication she's tiring while ole man winter may be loosing his grip. We'll just have to wait and see if he can rally late...
Last year around now, ole man winter cleared the bases with a monumental shot for the record books. Check out this photo taken near my residence in Northwest DC on Van Ness St, near the intersection of Connecticut Avenue. And look at this poor car.
Last but not least, I think our team did a good job forecasting the last storm--> we never called for more than an inch or two in DC and appropriately reduced amounts to next to nothing last night.
