Since the weather around here is pretty dull this week, I thought I'd update ya on the Brazillian event. There are two deaths reported so far, and hundreds of homes destroyed, although some Brazillian meteorologists continue to insist it was not an actual hurricane. Check out this
story for more details. Any thoughts on how the U.S. could have convinced Brazil to take more action before landfall? Satellite pictures clearly showed a well developed eye surrounded by a solid band of thunderstorms.
