Dreary, ugly weather the rest of the work week...

Jason Samenow @ 9:58 PM

A cutoff disturbance in the atmosphere is going to sit and spin over us for the next several days. It's quite an energetic feature--so we'll be looking at a good deal of rain between now and Friday. Temperatures will remain below average given an easterly fetch and cool air aloft.

This dark cloud has a silver lining, however. Things should clear out in time for the weekend which should offer good cherry blossom viewing conditions. Kevin Ambrose shot this nice photo of the blossoms on Monday.
