We have a complex weather situation today, with a warm front struggling to push through D.C. and get us into the warm, muggy air lying just to our south. Conditions in the mid and upper levels of the atmosphere look conducive to supporting severe thunderstorms, if we can get into that warm sector. A splash or two of sun would help quite a bit to get storms going. Keep an eye on the radar as the day wears on. According to the
National Weather Service Baltimore/Washington office , isolated tornadoes are a possibility in areas that punch into the warm air.
Happy Tuesday!
