No severe weather today/steady rain on the way

Andrew Freedman @ 8:59 PM

Once again D.C. was passed over by the severe weather gods, with storms to the north, south and east Thursday evening. The cold front which triggered those storms will take up residence over us on Friday, making for a rainy day off for Federal employees.

Expect below normal temperatures Friday through Sunday we dry things out for the weekend.

Check out this radar image showing how storms avoided the District, affecting suburban counties as well as Baltimore.
