Scattered Storms likely this afternoon

A cold front is approaching the area and showers/storms are already developing to our West. The Storm Prediction Center has our area under a slight risk of severe storms -- with the main threat being damaging winds. The atmosphere is juicy (dewpoints are around 70), so I wouldn't be surprised if a few stronger storms develop. However, I do not expect a big severe weather outbreak. The storms should begin affecting the area late this afternoon into the early evening hours. If any watches or warnings are issued, I'll try to post again.
