The coming week...typical July weather

Just now back from Bethany Beach, Delaware -- where it hardly rained over the holiday weekend. It probably comes as no surprise to those who stayed in town for the weekend that Reagan National broke its July 4 rainfall record -- measuring 2.18" on Sunday.
The week ahead looks pretty seasonable with temperatures generally in the high 80s to around 90. A frontal system will affect the area midweek, bringing the chance of storms. Things should dry out by the end of the week and for next weekend.
I'll have new and entertaining stuff for the web log each day this week and others from the CapitalWeather team will be chiming in from time to time. Keep checking back.
