Still waterlogged?

After a rainy 4th that seemed to rain every time I went outside to play horseshoes, the 5th looks to be just the opposite. Hopefully everyone has off on this glorious Monday; it looks to be a great one.
Here at 11 am the temperature is in the low 80's but the Heat Index is quickly reaching into the 90's. Whether going out on the golf course, for a dip in the river, or just a walk on the Mall, be sure to bring water and look for shade. Thunderstorms should not be an issue today, but by the middle of the week, I expect the heat to be ratcheted up and the thunderstorms to be missing the district once again.
