Winter in July?

Jason Samenow @ 9:20 AM

We've got a classic winter pattern in place today-- an unseasonably strong high pressure system to the north and northwest is directing cool northeasterly winds into the area. The situation is akin to a cold air damming scenario that often sets us up for wintry precipitation during the winter months.

No wintry precipitation today...and not much precipitation of any variety to speak of. Look for cloudy skies, a few patches of drizzle and unseasonably cool temperatures. 75 may be it for a high -- a good 10-15 degrees below average. A nice day for sight seeing or golf -- but not sunbathing.
