A showery afternoon

Expect on and off showers this afternoon into the early evening. I'm not sure what's up with the icon which shows partly sunny skies in the forecast above, but we'll look into it and get that fixed. Bottom line, if you're going anywhere this afternoon or early evening, be ready for rain. The rain should end sometime between 7pm and 10pm tonight.
Tomorrow is still looking great.
The Washington Post has a brief article about yesterday's weather. It reached 91 at BWI and Dulles, but National only got up to 89.
