Festival and football forecasts...
It's shaping up to be an outstanding weekend weatherwise. Yesterday,
DCist posted about
Blocktober Fest which will fill the streets of Arlington with beer, music and activities on
Saturday. The weather will cooperate for the festivities with partly cloudy skies and high temps in the low 80s. Not to be outdone,
OnTapOnline.com indicates
Barktober Fest will occur on
Sunday in Sterling. According to the
event description, it's all of the following: music festival/carnival/adoption event/fundraiser (sponsored by the Friends of Homeless Animals). Weather looks good for Sunday as well, with scattered clouds and highs near 80. For other weekend activities, the Washington Post's
weekend section is always a good place to go.
Onto the gridiron...
