Halloween,
near peak foliage and football -- combine that with Indian summer and you've got all the ingredients of a fine fall weekend. Gotta get through
today first, though -- and it will be dreary with clouds, showers and cool temperatures. Expect highs only 55-60.
Overnight tonight a warm front will move through setting the stage for an
unseasonably mild Saturday. Expect mostly cloudy skies in the morning giving way to a mix of clouds and sun with highs 75-80. There is about a 50/50 chance of showers between about 4 and 8pm tomorrow, associated with a cold front that will swing through Saturday night.
On
Sunday, Halloween, it will be a bit breezy, but will remain mild. Expect partly sunny skies with the high near 70. Westerly winds will be 10-20 mph and gusty. I will post a trick-or-treat forecast Sunday morning.
Not a whole lot in the way of big outdoor events this weekend as far as I can tell, but here are a couple links that list weekend happenings:

There are a couple local football games this weekend:
On Saturday, the
Terps take-on the Seminoles of Florida State at Byrd Stadium in College Park (what happened to protecting this house?). Gametime is 3:30pm and it will be warm, with temperatures in the mid 70s at kickoff, but slowly dropping into the high 60s by game's end. There is the chance of a shower during the game, so fans should bring rain gear. Score prediction: FSU 35, Maryland 10
On Sunday, the
Redskins face the Green Bay Packers at FedEx Field -- gametime 1pm. It will be quite breezy, but mild with temperatures 65-70. Score prediction: Green Bay 24, Washington 13
Season prediction record: 15-4!
