Weekend outlook

Jason Samenow @ 7:17 AM

In the wake of the strong cold front passing through the area today, we're looking at a cool but dry weekend. Saturday will be on the breezy side (westerly winds at 15-20 mph) with high temperatures in the low 60s. International Gold Cup (near the The Plains, Va) spectators will need to hold onto their hats. OnTapOnline lists a whole host of other events happening on Saturday.

Sunday, the winds will slacken, and temps will rise into the mid 60s. All in all, a pretty nice day, and the best day of the weekend.

Score prediction: Hokies 55, Rattlers 3

At 3:30pm, in College Park, the Terps face the N.C. State Wolfpack at Byrd Stadium. It will be a bit breezy (although winds will drop off in the second half), with temperatures falling from the low 60s into mid to high 50s by game's end. Score prediction: Pack 21, Terps 14
