Dennis in Gulf, restrengthening

For us, just a typical, warm July day. Expect a mix of clouds and sun, along with a slight chance (20%) of an isolated gusty thunderstorm with highs in the upper 80s. Humidity will be average --> a tad bit sticky.

Hurricane Dennis passed over Cuba yesterday afternoon and evening, and weakened quite a bit over land. At present, Dennis is a Category 2 storm, with maximum winds at 100mph, and a minimum pressure of 967mb. However, as he is now over the warm water of the Gulf of Mexico, he is steadily restrengthening and should regain Category Three status before making landfall. I still think landfall should be somewhere around Mobile, AL tomorrow midday.

Per yesterday's comments, some of his moisture is likely to increase humidity and thunderstorm chances here by midweek.
