Deja Vu -- Another Brilliant Day

Jason Samenow @ 9:12 AM

It really does not get much better weatherwise in the DC area than what we've got going now. Yesterday was gorgeous and today is close to a spitting image (save some high clouds).

Forecast

Expect plenty of sunshine, but also some high clouds streaming in from time to time. High temperatures should range from 66-70. The UV Index is very high (an 8), so wear a sunscreen, sunglasses and hat if you're outside -- particularly midday. Pollen levels are also high -- so consider a Claritin, Allegra, Zyrtec or the like for relief.

The forecast continues to be ideal for the DarFur rally today on the mall. Expect partly sunny skies with temperatures in the mid to upper 60s during the event, which runs from 2-4:30pm. You should be comfortable in short sleeves, but a light jacket might be a good idea for those who tend to get cold.

Today, National Weather Service Open House: The Sterling Weather Service office will be open to the public today. Activities include weather balloon releases, tours of the forecast office, children's activities and more.
