Wonderful Wednesday

Our early-week groove of nice weather should persist through the first half of the weekend, except for a brief bout with clouds and showers late Thursday into the first part of Friday. After a chilly Friday night, it looks like a good start to the weekend on Saturday, with Sunday more of a question mark.
Lovely. Another quiet, pleasant weather day across the Washington area. It'll be partly sunny with a high in the mid 70s. Tonight, a few clouds with a low near 60 in town, mid 50s in the burbs.
Sunny start ... cloudy and possibly showery finish. We should start the day with a good amount of sunshine, and with the help of southerly flow highs should reach the upper 70s. Clouds may build during the middle part of the day along with an increasingly noticeable breeze as a cold front approaches. Overcast skies are likely by late afternoon or early evening. We could see spotty shower activity during the early evening hours, with more numerous and heavier showers possible (60% chance) overnight and into Friday morning. With the cloud cover, overnight lows should be fairly uniform across the area, near 60.
Improving but cool. A few showers may linger through mid-morning and clouds may cover the sky through midday. Even with the possibility of afternoon sunshine, a breezy wind out of the northwest will likely limit high temps to the mid 60s. Overnight, mostly clear and chilly with lows in the upper 40s in town, low 40s in the burbs.
Sunny Saturday, Questionable Sunday. With high pressure in control, Saturday is a good bet to be sunny albeit a tad cool, with highs in the mid-to-upper 60s. Saturday night could bring increasing clouds ahead of the next front as overnight lows dip into the low-to-mid 50s. On Sunday, the passing through of said front could generate clouds and some showers, though the probability and timing of precipitation is still uncertain. Sunday's high should be near 70.
