October Recap

The warm weather of the final couple days of the month won't be enough to erase the sizeable negative departure. October will still finish more than a degree below normal. Additionally, we will finish almost 2" of rain above normal. We are on pace to finish the year at almost 10" above normal. This will be only the 4th time in the last 30 years that both September and October finished below normal. If November follows the trend, it will be only the 3rd time that we had back to back to back below normal autumn months since 1950. Stay tuned for the winter outlook which will be issued next week.
