Sensational Saturday, Sullen Sunday...

Jason Samenow @ 11:00 PM

If the headline didn't make it obvious -- today's the weekend day to be outside. Sunday won't be a washout -- but just won't measure up to today's ideal mid-October conditions...

Today

Forecast Confidence: High-Very HighMostly sunny, pleasant. With high pressure building in from the west, we'll have beautiful sunshine, light winds and seasonable temperatures. Highs should be right around 65.

Overnight, it will be mostly clear until late when some high clouds will build in. Lows should be 40-45 (suburbs to city).

Sunday

Forecast Confidence: Medium-HighIncreasing morning clouds, some afternoon light rain. An approaching frontal system will cause clouds to lower and thicken during the morning, with scattered light rain in the afternoon (40% chance). The clouds will hold down high temperatures, with highs 56-61.

Coming tomorrow: Andrew Freedman's Undercast column. Be sure to stop by and check it out...
