Although the average high temperature this week is in the low to mid 60s, we may not reach 60 the whole time. Instead, we'll experience generally breezy and cool conditions, with highs in the 50s.

Today


Forecast Confidence: HighBreezy, cooler. In the wake of last night's cold front, expect partly sunny skies today, with highs 55-59. Northwest winds will be brisk at 15-20mph. Overnight, it should be clear and cool -- with a light breeze. Lows should be 32-37.

Tuesday


Forecast Confidence: HighBreezy, cool. Cool northwesterly flow will continue. Expect partly to mostly sunny skies, but with highs only 52-56. Northwest winds of 15-20mph will make it feel like the 40s. Overnight, winds will subside a bit and it will be clear and cold, with lows 32-37 (suburbs-city).

Wednesday


Forecast Confidence: HighA bit warmer. The heart of the cold air mass will retreat allowing temperatures to warm a bit. It will also not be as windy. Expect partly sunny skies, with highs 55-59. Overnight, it should be mostly clear, with lows 33-40 (suburbs to city)

Thursday


Forecast Confidence: Medium-HighIncreasing clouds. A warm front will approach from the southwest during the day. Prior to its passage, clouds will increase and it will be cool with highs only 54-58. Overnight, there's a 50% chance of rain -- especially late. Lows should range from 45-50.

Friday


Forecast Confidence: MediumMorning rain, PM drying? A cold front will pass through the area sometime Friday. The question is when... If it's in the morning, any rain should end then, with a breezy, cool afternoon and highs in the 50s. If the front doesn't clear until later in the afternoon, showers will persist longer and temperatures may briefly surpass 60. Overnight Friday, it should be breezy with clear skies, and lows 38-43.

Saturday


Forecast Confidence: Medium-HighIncreasing clouds, cold. A disturbance will likely approach from the west. Much of its moisture will probably be squeezed out by the mountains but, a shower is possible -- although the timing is uncertain. Clouds and the cool airmass overhead will keep things chilly -- with highs only in the low 50s. Overnight, it will be cloudy early, before clearing early in the morning -- with lows 33-38.

Sunday


Forecast Confidence: Medium-HighMostly sunny, a bit warmer. High pressure building in from the west will likely allow for a good deal of sunshine and warmer temperatures. Look for highs of 55-60.
