After near-record lows last night into the 20s in most areas (23 at IAD; 26 at BWI; 30 at DCA), we'll hang on to plenty of sunshine and surprisingly chilly weather for the remainder of the weekend.
Today
Cold; not as windy. Expect abundant sunshine today, with high temperatures similar to yesterday's -- mostly in the upper 40s -- but it will not feel quite as harsh due to lighter winds (of the 5-10mph variety).
Tonight will feature clear skies and calm winds, with temperatures ranging from mid 20s over the coolest suburbs to near freezing downtown.
Sunday
Temperatures moderating. Sunday will feature a near-equal mix of clouds and sun, with temperatures moving up several degrees. Expect highs in the low to mid 50s with light winds and overnight lows in the upper 20s to mid 30s under mostly clear skies.
