Tuesday

Forecast Confidence: HighAnother nice day. High pressure hangs on to give us mostly sunny skies through midday, then increasing clouds in the afternoon. High in the mid 50s. Overnight, turning mostly cloudy with a chance of showers toward morning as a weak cold front approaches. Lows in the low 40s.

Wednesday

Forecast Confidence: Medium-HighChance of showers. As a weak cold front moves through and fizzles out, we'll likely see partly to mostly cloudy skies and a 30-40% chance of showers through at least early afternoon. Highs in the low 50s. Then, clearing skies toward evening. Overnight, becoming mostly clear with lows near 40 in town, mid 30s in the burbs.

Thursday

Forecast Confidence:Medium-HighPartly sunny, into the 50s again. High pressure sits to our south, while a stationary front keeps the cold air locked in place well to the north. In between, I expect we'll see partly sunny skies, highs in the mid 50s, and a slight chance of a late-day shower if the stationary front sinks southward a bit. Overnight, partly cloudy with a slight chance of a shower. Lows in the low 40s in town, mid-to-upper 30s in the burbs.

Friday

Forecast Confidence: MediumContinued warmer than average. A little cold front passing to our north could clip us with some clouds and a slight chance of a shower. Otherwise, look for highs approaching the mid 50s under partly sunny skies. Overnight, a few clouds with lows near 40 in town, mid 30s in the burbs.

The Weekend

Forecast Confidence: Medium-HighMore of the same. Assuming the stationary front stays safely to our north, the weekend should be partly to mostly sunny. Highs in the mid 50s. Saturday night's low near 40 in town, mid-to-upper 30s in the burbs.
