Record warmth today?

Jason Samenow @ 11:14 AM

Record highs of 72 at Reagan National and BWI are in jeopardy this afternoon, and Dulles' record of 66 is sure to be shattered. Enjoy it -- as temperatures will trend downward, beginning tomorrow.

Today

Nice Day StampBeautiful. Partly to mostly sunny skies and a remarkably warm airmass will allow temperatures everywhere to reach at least 70. In fact, mid 70s are possible in a few spots. Overnight, as a cold front passes through expect partly cloudy skies and slightly cooler temperatures, with lows 37-44 (suburbs-city).

Tomorrow

Forecast Confidence: Medium-HighIncreasing clouds, cooler. Rain possible late. Expect partly sunny skies in the morning to give way to lowering and thickening clouds in the afternoon. High temperatures are likely to be in the mid 50s. By dark, rain is likely, with lows in the 40s.
