Fortunately, there will not be a hard freeze and urban areas may even be a hair above freezing. Still, untreated surfaces will be very slick especially in the colder suburbs -- use caution.

Generally, 3-6" of snow fell across the metro area before changing to freezing rain.
Storm snow totals as of late this evening were 2.9" at National and 4.5" at the Sterling NWS office, but spotter reports ranged as high as 6" in Frederick MD, 5.5" in central and northern Montgomery Co., and 6" in Centreville. Willow Grove in Shenandoah Co. reported 10.5".
