Andrew Freedman's Undercast is Off TodayA chilly day is on tap today, but the real cold blast streams in for Monday and Tuesday.
Today
Brisk. A steady northwest wind and the gradual emergence of Arctic air will present us with a cold, but not quite frigid February day. Highs should reach the low to mid 30s with wind chills in the teens. Overnight, the cold will turn gripping, with lows 11-16 (suburbs to city) and wind chills near 0.
Tomorrow
Coldest day of the winter? The heart of the Arctic airmass will be over the region. Despite partly to mostly sunny skies, temperatures will likely not rise above the mid 20s. Factor in winds near 20mph, and wind chills will be in the single digits most of the day.
The full week ahead forecast will be posted tomorrow.
