Another Gem Before a Transition to Cooler Weather

Matt Ross @ 1:00 AM

We will have another day of late spring/early summer like temperatures before
a front comes through on Wednesday with some real chilly air behind it.

Today

Forecast Confidence: HighSunny, Warm. Today will be
mostly sunny with temps 15+ degrees above normal. Afternoon highs will reach the mid to upper 70s, with the best chance at 80 degrees in the southern and western suburbs.

Tonight and Tomorrow

Forecast Confidence: MediumShowers, Cooler. Tonight we
will see increasing cloudiness with a 50-50 chance of some showers and maybe a thunderstorm as we head toward the early morning hours. Overnight lows will fall to the low to mid 50s. Wednesday will be cloudy and cooler with showers and thunderstorms likely, especially during the morning and early afternoon. Highs in the mid to upper 60s will steady and then gradually fall as we head toward the evening rush. Refer to Jason's forecast for the rest of the week and weekend.
