Nor'easter, will cooperate for tax preparation procrastinators who need to finish the job. Rain, wind and unseasonably cold conditions will offer little motivation to be outside.
Today
Rain and wind. Steady,wind-swept rain, heavy at times (especially in DC and points east) will continue through around noon. By mid afternoon, the rain will begin to decrease in
coverage and intensity from southwest to northeast -- but scattered showers will still be around. Winds will gradually increase from 10-20mph this morning to 15-25mph by late this afternoon with higher gusts. High temperatures will be near 50.
Tonight, it will be variably cloudy, windy and cold. Some widely scattered showers remain possible which may even mix with snow towards morning well north and west of DC. Lows will range from 34-39 (suburbs-city) with winds gusting as high as 30-40mph.
