Tuesday

Forecast Confidence: Medium-HighPartly sunny and warm, showers late? We'll have one more warm afternoon, although mid and high level clouds will definitely be on the increase. High temperatures will be near 80. Overnight, there's a slight chance of showers as a weak cold front approaches. Low temperatures will be in the low to mid 50s.

Wednesday

Forecast Confidence: Medium-HighMostly cloudy, chance of showers. The cold front will stall out over the area -- and the weather will be unsettled as a result. A wave of low pressure will travel along the front, increasing the threat of showers in the afternoon. High temperatures will likely be in the upper 60s to around 70. Overnight, shower activity will likely decrease late as the wave moves off to the east, with lows in the low to mid 50s.

Thursday

Forecast Confidence:MediumLate day and overnight showers? The stalled front will probably be just to our south, but by late in the day, another wave of low pressure should move towards the area. Prior to this though, it may be dry with even a bit of sunshine before the rain threat increases towards evening. High temperatures will likely be in the mid to upper 60s. Overnight, scattered rain showers are possible with lows in the mid 50s.

Friday

Forecast Confidence: Medium-HighMorning rain, then remaining cloudy. As low pressure passes by to the south, some rain may linger through the morning hours. The rain should diminish during the afternoon, although it is likely to remain mostly cloudy. High temperatures will probably be in the mid to upper 60s. Overnight, slow clearing is possible, with lows 47-52 (suburbs-city)

The Weekend

Forecast Confidence: Medium-HighPartial sunshine, seasonable temperatures. Assuming the frontal system and any associated waves of low pressure move offshore by Saturday morning, the weekend has the potential to be pleasant. On Saturday, a bit of sunshine may emerge from the clouds, with high temperatures in the upper 60s. Sunday has the best potential, with more abundant sunshine, and temperatures surpassing 70.
