You Better, You Weather, You Bet

Finally...after April snow...after April rain...after April wind and after April cold, I present you with April sun and April warmth -- all weekend long. Soak it up.
Picture perfect. It's hard to beat days like these. Under high pressure, we'll have sunny skies, light winds and pleasant temperatures. After a refreshingly crisp start (34-38 suburbs-city), high temperatures will reach the mid to upper 70s with low humidity levels. Overnight, it will be clear and cool, with lows 39-45 (suburbs-city).
Another winner. Tomorrow will be nearly a carbon copy of today -- perhaps with a few added high clouds and temperatures a degree or two warmer. Highs should reach the upper 70s.

Providence, RI: 15.1"
Dulles, VA (Dulles Airport): 14.7"
Philadelphia, PA: 13.4"

Baltimore, MD (BWI Airport): 11.0"
Alexandria, VA (Reagan National Airport): 9.5"
Raleigh-Durham, NC: 1.6"
Richmond, VA: 1.3"
Up and down the East Coast, snow totals were below average. I imagine Matt may have more commentary on this Tuesday.
Just because the East Coast didn't get much snow this winter, doesn't mean they won't be able to manufacture it if they really want to in the future. Apparently, the Chinese have successfully used "rain-seeding" techniques to produce a snowfall in one of their cities to alleviate a drought. See the article "Chinese make first artificial snowfall" from the UK Telegraph for more information.
