The weekend will offer a taste of summer before picture perfect spring-like conditions emerge by Sunday afternoon. During the transition, showers and storms are likely Saturday afternoon and night.

Through the early afternoon, conditions will more than likely be warm, dry and a bit muggy, with temperatures climbing through the 70s. Clouds will increase during the early to mid afternoon with highs 77-81. Between early afternoon and dusk, there's a 50% chance of a shower or thunderstorm in your backyard. So be prepared for possible interruptions to outdoor activities. Overnight, showers and thunderstorms are likely (70% probability), with lows 55-60.

Forecast Confidence: HighGlorious sunshine by afternoon, breezy. Strong Canadian high pressure will build in from the northwest giving the air a clean and fresh feeling. After some morning clouds, skies will become mostly sunny by late morning as a refreshing northerly breeze kicks in. Temperatures will be about 10 degrees cooler than today with highs 67-71.
